Oh we LOVE the Holidays.

1 quarter of an inch!

yesterday morning as i was getting ready for church, Cohen decided to really make himself known. i do not know if it was his hand, foot, knee or elbow, but it was more than a little kick. something actually protruded out of my tummy a good quarter of an inch! i nearly passed out from shock, i hollered out to steve to come see. but by the time he got there i had pushed it back in. ever since, meaning all day yesterday and today, little Cohen has been moving ALL over :) his kicks and punches are definitely stronger and bigger now. in one hour this morning he moved 38 times! yes i counted. i'll admit, counting his kicks was more fun and engaging than my ed psych class. all i can say is time is flying by. next week is thanksgiving, then baby shower! then we get to come home and set up our nursery and the following weekend is another shower. THEN the semester is about over and Christmas will be here. after that, well the long awaited day of meeting our lil guy will be here before we know it! Cohen we love you and are so thankful you are growing and moving and healthy. keep it up my precious lil baby.

he's a kickin'

so our lil boy is sure moving around a lot these days. 

he likes to sleep during the day 

and 

wiggle at night. 

which makes sleeping rather hard, 

but that is okay ;) 

it is SO fun now because i can DEFINITELY feel him kick 

and 

so can daddy now too. 

our favorite is when he is just moving ALL over the place 

and 

we can literally see my stomach move/twitch. 

steve also gets a kick out of my belly when i laugh

...cuz it has a lil jiggle to it...

like santy claus. ;) 

okay NOT quite that much, but still. 

anyway, there is lots of love and excitement for our little Cohen.

late night trip to walmart

so, at 945 last night we headed to walmart to buy season two of modern fam and of glee.

came home and made a tasty treat--

cookie dough and icecream with chocolate syrup for me and caramel for steve. 

then we watched three episodes of glee. 

love life. 

3s Saturday

1st. 

slept in till 10, then made frenchy toasty with my lovey. 

2nd. 

went to study group for SIX & a HALF HOURS! oy.

3rd. 

 made homemade pizza with my lovey, 

babysat our lil cousin and watched Spirit. 

three things: pizza turned out SO good, nathan is adorable, and that movie is actually pretty good...

steve and i watched it more than nathan lol.

and that was my saturday. 

went by rather quick but was exceptionally good 

because i was productive in the homework area 

and 

still had fun with my love.

He treats me LIKE an ANGEL.

so being sick sucks. just puttin that out there. i am so tired of laying around and still not getting better. luckily i have the most wonderful husband ever who treats me like his angel. 

this morning i woke up, came down the stairs just in time to see my sweetheart whippin up some pancakes. they were so delicious! then he gave me a lotion footrub while we watched conference. 

now, he is makin me an applewood smoked bacon pork loin dinner. 

can't wait! 

its gonna be SOO good.

my favorite part was when he asked what i wanted with it, "some potatoes, carrots...?" 

"yes, sounds good." 

"so should i just boil some potatoes then?" 

"well do you want mashed potatoes? cuz then ya boil them then you can mash em and add butter and milk and whatever else makes em good." 

...steve thinks....

then way excited he says "YES! lets make mashed potatoes cuz then we can put cheese and sour cream on them too!" 

oh boy. i love him. he makes me laugh. 

the Baby's playin tricks on mommy already

So today in church, i took my

 purple 

rubberband 

off my journal and was showing steve some quotes 

i had written in it from the R.S. conference last night. 

then when we were done reading, i went to put my 

purple

rubberband

around it again. 

i could NOT find it!

we looked around us and on the floor-

Nothing.

Then, i look down and 

BENEATH my little baby belly 

and there it was!

HAHAHA it was so funny.

Our little boy is playin tricks on us already.  

Family of two soon to be THREE!

as most of you know, steve and i are having our first baby boy in 19 WEEKS! 

we are over the half-way point. 

as you can guess, we are more than thrilled to be blessed  with this precious baby boy. 

we love him SO much already. 

i can't wait to see how much he is going to look like his daddy. 

steve is absolutely the most sweetest, 

tender-hearted husband. i love him with all my heart. 

he brings so much joy to my life EVERY day. in big ways, but mostly in the small things he does for me--and that is what i love most about him.

 he is going to be SUCH a wonderful daddy.

...who would ever have thought that deciding on the name for your baby would be so hard!

FUN, but hard. 

we have our three favorites but...

we can't decide. 

good thing we still have 19 weeks. 

one day our baby is this name and 

the next day we try out our other favorite name. 

or sometimes it's not even the next day, but the next second we try out the other name! it's fun 

but, we just wish we knew what our little son wants to be called. i guess time will tell. 

who knows, we'll prolly have our name picked out for him...then he'll be born and we will be like

 "OH never mind, he looks like _____! yes, perfect."

either way, i can't wait for our little baby to arrive.

i have truly been blessed beyond measure. i am so eternally thankful for my family. 

both the family i have come from and my new little family of three. 

what a joyous life the Lord has given me.

here WE are!

for months now...ok maybe a year and a half...steve has been telling me we need to start a blog. 

yes, he telling me. not me telling him. lol 

though i wanted to, i kept telling him 

"we need a pet 

or a baby 

or SOMETHING 

to post about". 

then it dawned on me, i have EVERYTHING in the world that i could ever ask for. 

my life IS a fairytale. 

and so 

the story begins...
